Ariyoshi Japanese Restaurant was founded in 1970 in Sunnyside, Queens. At a time when it was more challenging to find authentic Japanese food in New York, the restaurant gained the affection of Japanese customers through its nostalgic flavors, traditional ambiance, and genuine service.

In addition to serving traditional Japanese dishes, they have expanded their menu to include Teriyaki, Sushi rolls, and their establishment has grown to welcome many visitors. Ariyoshi offers a wide variety of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, ramen, set meals, and izakaya menus (appetizers).
